Choose a style that suits you perfectly, it can be as subtle/elegant or kinky/explicit as you like. (But please no requests for portraits of children).

Mr Hues offers his services as a painter of intimate portraits:

I have been painting and drawing all my life. I trained as a graphic artist and illustrator in Chester, Bournemouth, Poole, Falmouth and London, and also teach drawing and give demonstrations and workshops, and now I present my services as a portrait painter to people like you who value truth, beauty and art. The work I do is quite unlike any other artist in that I bring the very highest level of skill together with my deep passion for quality and artistic integrity. I create art objects that will outlive me and will serve as a legacy for your beauty.

It is possible for me to work from good quality clear photos you have taken yourself and sent through the web or the post to me but that way you miss out on having my professional creative input on lighting, composition and direction. For this reason I prefer to work in the flesh and of course I endeavour to make the experience of posing for me as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

You are invited to my studio in Bournemouth, Dorset for a photo shoot where we will decide on the overall look and feel for your unique portrait. I enjoy working with both first time models and those more experienced as it brings me joy to see an individual bloom in front of the camera, but for those less confident please feel free to bring a friend. The process is about helping you to relax and flourish, and getting to know you in order to bring out that essence that I hope to capture and seal with oil into your painting.

We would then go through the resulting shots from the photo shoot and I will decide which images would be best suited for turning into your portrait. I do hope you trust my artistic judgement but this is essentially a collaboration so your input will help make sure the finished piece is something everyone is happy with. The price and amount of time the painting will take to finish from this stage varies completely depending on the size of canvas used and complexity of the composition. But once it is finished I will post your painting to you, or you can collect it from me in person if you are able.

I am extremely proud of all my work and would love to display it in the galleries section of this website, but once your portrait is completed it is your property and if you so chose I will of course refrain from using it online or for any promotional purposes. I respect your wishes and privacy.
